Now that the fires that wrought destruction upon our beloved mountains have gone out – it’s safe to venture out and explore the beauty the underrated Slieve Bloom region has to offer!
On Sunday July 29th, we will meet at The Poet’s Cottage Camross (Co.Laois) at 2.00pm for a walk to Ard Éireann. The views at 1700 foot are stunning with sights across many different counties visible!
The legend that is local historian Mick Dowling takes us on a memorable ADVENTURE lasting about three hours and is within the ability of most averagely fit people.
Mouth – watering refreshments served afterwards in the Poet’s cottage, a fascinating replica thatched cottage from 1800’s rural Ireland.
And even better, its all FREE!
Come and join us ‘reach your peak’ and make fond treasured memories!
