Mountmellick Heritage Society as part of Heritage Week 2015 present a talk by Padraig O’ Cearbhaill on Laois placenames.

Padraig O’ Cearbhaill is the Chief Placenames Officer in the Placenames Office and has just completed researching 1100 Laois placenames. He will be in the Balcony Theatre, Mountmellick on Thursday, August 27th at 8pm talking and answering questions on this topic.
